Share and Care is a private, Christian preschool on the NW side of Cedar Rapids. Since 1980, we have been providing a safe and loving early childhood environment that strives to develop the whole child. We know that each little one was created special by a loving God and we aim to showcase each individual learner throughout a variety of hands-on and play-based educational experiences. We proudly serve in ministry with Concordia Lutheran Church and its Board of Education.
Share and Care Preschool is a DHS licensed child-care facility. We also partner with the Cedar Rapids Community School District to provide a Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program for qualified four year olds. Our staff is trained in First Aid, CPR, AED, Universal Precautions and are Mandatory Reporters. Each staff member also completes ongoing continuing education to ensure that we are always providing the most current practices in early childhood education.
We also partner with the Cedar Rapids Community School District to provide a Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program for qualified four year olds. This program meets Monday-Thursday from 9-12pm. 10 of those hours are comprised of secular education following IQPPS standards as dictated by the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program.
