Share and Care Preschool is a Christian preschool located on the northwest side of Cedar Rapids. As a ministry of Concordia Lutheran church, we are committed to the development of the whole child and have been teaching our youngest learners with God’s love since 1980.
While we are a Christian preschool, families of all faith-based communities are welcome at Share and Care. We do offer secular options that do not include prayer time. If you have any additional questions, please reach out.
Share and Care Preschool is a DHS licensed child-care facility. Our staff is trained in First Aid, CPR, AED, Universal Precautions and are Mandatory Reporters. Each staff member also completes ongoing continuing education to ensure that we are always providing the most current practices in early childhood education.
We also partner with the Cedar Rapids Community School District to provide a Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program for qualified four year olds. This program meets Monday-Thursday from 9-12pm. 10 of those hours are comprised of secular education following IQPPS standards as dictated by the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program.
